🗣️ Gavaskar’s Emotional Statement

Despite being fierce rivals on the field, Sunil Gavaskar spoke strongly in support of Khan, saying:

“It’s terrible what they are doing to him. We have been friends since he was trying to qualify as an overseas player for Worcestershire, and not just rivals on the field.”

Khan’s sons, Kasim and Sulaiman, speaking from London, said:

  • They fear for their father’s deteriorating health.

  • They had their first conversation with him since September.

  • He reportedly expressed frustration about being denied eye treatment for months.
