In the Kerala Cricket League, Salman Nizar played a brilliant innings in the Calicut vs Trivandrum match at Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. He scored 86 runs in 26 balls, hitting 11 sixes in 12 balls. In the 19th over, he hit 5 consecutive sixes to Basil Thampi and in the next over, he hit 40 runs in Abhijeet Parveen’s over, which included one wide and one no ball. 71 runs were scored in the last two overs, which is a record in T20.
