Premier League favorites Liverpool are set to earn a hefty perk from Nike if they lift the jewel at the end of the 2024/25 crusade.
What happened?
The Reds now enjoy an eleven-point lead at the top of the Premier League table after Arsenal lost to West Ham and beat Manchester City 2-0 last weekend. They’re on track to win the top- division title for a record 20th time and if they eventually manage to achieve the feat, they will reportedly admit a£ 2 million($ 2.5 m) perk from Nike, according to The Athletic

Under their five- time deal with Nike which was inked in 2020- the sporting goods company is obliged to pay the platoon if they win the Premier League. Nike will pay£ 2 million if Liverpool reach the titleholders League final and£ 4 million if they win the European title on May 31 in Munich. In the titleholders League, the six-time winners are due to face Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their round of 16 tie in the French capital on March 5.
