The FA has revealed what Liverpool director Arne Slot said to adjudicator Michael Oliver at the end of a dramatic 2–2 draw in the last Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.
James Tarkowski caused a sensation with a 98th- nanosecond equalizer before Slott launched a cutting dig at Oliver just after the full-time whoosh.
The Dutch player was shown a red card and latterly fined£ 70,000 and given a two- match touchline ban, and the governing body has now handed a written explanation for the warrants.
It read” The adjudicator reported that after the full-time whoosh had been blown, he was approached by LFC’s Arne Slot(” AS”) who entered the field of play to defy the adjudicator and the platoon of match officers. Pressures were running high.”
It was contended that AS’s get was combative and aggressive. It was contended that he originally used vituperative language when shaking hands with the adjudicator, including saying that the adjudicator had’ given him everything’ and that AS hoped the adjudicator was’ proud of that performance’.”
“The adjudicator also verified( after reviewing the videotape footage to clarify) that Aas had approached him again roughly one nanosecond latterly. In this exchange, Aas formerly again shook hands with the adjudicator and stated ‘ If we do n’t win the league, I’ll condemn you’. It was also also contended that Aas turned to the adjunct adjudicator and yelled doubly that this was ‘ veritably discourteous’.
“due to AS’s conduct, the adjudicator showed him the red card.”
