Emery expects Bruges test to be ‘tough’.
Villa master Unai Emery believes Club Brugge is a fully “confident” platoon and is now completely ready for Europe’s premier competition.
“They believe and you can see their confidence when you assay them,” Emery told TNT Sports. “They’re feeling comfortable in this competition, they’re contending veritably well.
“They lost a game then to Borussia Dortmund, but also they beat Sporting Lisbon, they beat us, they drew with Juventus and beat Atalanta. It is an astonishing result they achieved, and they are proud of it.
“This match will be veritably tough. I suppose they are performing better now than the last match they played then.”
