Dubai pitch controversy: Gambhir lashes out at Ponting, Smith and Pakistan

After reaching the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Gautam Gambhir reacted to the controversy over playing in Dubai. He rejected the claims of Australian and Pakistani players and said that India has no advantage by playing in Dubai. Gambhir said that this ground is equally neutral for everyone and the Indian team has never practiced here before.
