Pakistan’s legendary bowler Wasim Akram met India’s young batsman Abhishek Sharma during the Champions Trophy 2025. Akram did not recognize Abhishek, but when he came to know the name, he said, “The same Abhishek who made England dumb by hitting them”. Praising Abhishek, Akram said that his future is bright and advised him to play for his country for 15-20 more years.
