Marmon Asensio gives Aston Villa the’ X factor’
Former Aston Villa midfielder Paul Marmon believes Marco Asensio has given Unai Emery’s side the “ X factor ”.
Since subscribing from Paris Saint-Germain last month, the Spaniard has scored five pretensions for the Villeins, including a penalty in their 3–1 titleholders League palm over Club Brugge on Tuesday.
“I suppose the biggest compliment I can give him is that every other club in the country or around the world will be allowing, ‘How do we get him?’ I know he hasn’t played a lot of football, but you can’t play for Real Madrid and PSG if you can’t play football. And he has proven that.
“He is got the X factor. He is got a touch of class. He can spot a pass and score pretensions.”
“He has worked veritably hard. When you bring in a player of that class and gift, your biggest concern is,’ Will he have the right station? ‘Or will he come then and suppose,’I should not be then, I have been at Real Madrid and PSG.’
He is come in with an unthinkable station where every youth at that club will look at him and suppose, ‘Wow, I want to be then, tearing everything up, playing at Real Madrid, PSG and now on loan at Villa.’
