England opener Ben Duckett created history by playing the best innings of his ODI career against Australia at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday. Duckett scored 165 runs in 143 balls with the help of three sixes and 17 fours, which is the highest individual score in his ODI career as well as in the history of the Champions Trophy.
Duckett, who did not find a place in the playing 11 during the T20 World Cup last year, took full advantage of the opportunity he got this time.
