Devjit Saikia transformed into the new secretary of BCCI on January 12. He replaced Jay Shah, who is presently the head of ICC. Saikia was working as span secretary since December 1. Prabhtej Singh Bhatia has taken command over the post of agent rather than Ashish Shelar. Saikia, who hails from Assam, is a 55-year-old legitimate guide. He played four five star matches for Assam from 1990 to 1991.
