Amid speculation about Dhoni becoming the mentor of Team India for the 2026 T20 World Cup, former batsman Manoj Tiwari said that if Dhoni becomes the mentor, his pairing with Gambhir will be ‘worth watching’. Tiwari said, ‘The real question is whether Dhoni will accept this role. But if he does so, his experience will be invaluable.’ Dhoni and Gambhir were part of the 2011 World Cup winning team.
