South Zone defeated North Zone in the semi-final of Duleep Trophy 2025 and entered the final. N. Jagadeesan’s brilliant innings of 197 and 52 runs and Gurjpanit’s 4 wickets helped South Zone gain a lead of 175 runs in the first innings. The match played at BCCI COE Ground 1 on Sunday was a draw, but South Zone reached the final. It will face Central Zone on September 11.
