Manchester: Skipper Shubman Gill backs Karun Nair in spite of his inconsistent scores (0, 20, 31, 26, 40, 14) within the ongoing series.
Gill says, “We think Karun is batting nicely. sometimes it’s about getting that flick…we are hopeful he will flip it around.” Nair’s comeback after 8 years is under scrutiny, with younger Sai Sudharsan ready. Gill confirmed Nair may not be dropped.
