Ishan Kishan has been out of Team India for a long time, he last played in November 2023. His return has become difficult due to poor performance in domestic cricket. He scored only 15 runs in both the innings against Tamil Naidu in the Ranji Trophy. Kishan was dropped from the team by the BCCI for not playing domestic cricket. Shreyas Iyer also performed brilliantly in domestic cricket and has returned to the team.
