RCB, which stayed away from social media for 3 months after the Bengaluru stampede, has returned. The team had observed ‘silent mourning’ after 11 people died in a stampede during victory celebrations at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on June 4. Now RCB has launched the ‘RCB Cares’ initiative, which aims to help the affected families. RCB said, “June 4 changed everything… In that silence we were in grief… to remain the pride of Karnataka.”
