The Barcelona winger is formerly doing effects in the professional game that are similar to Lionel Messi and Pele.
Lamine Yamal has always idolized Lionel Messi. The Barcelona legend was his only hero- and still is. “I had no other hero,” Yamal told Tuttosport. “I had a print with him formerly. I was unconscious.”

The symbolism is nearly perfect; it’s as if Messi is bedaubing his successor, baptizing Barca’s coming messiah.
Still, he’s formerly doing just that. He plays in the same position for the same club that Messi has immortalized his name with, and is presently wowing suckers around the world with the same ruinous dribbling chops and amazing collection of crosses.
There’s arguably only one significant difference Yamal is indeed better than Messi at the same age. The winner of NXGN 2025 might be the most talented teenager the game has ever seen.
