After his impressive performance against New Zealand, Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to seek blessings. The young cricketer participated in the sacred Bhasma Aarti and described the visit as a deeply spiritual and unforgettable experience.
Reddy had scored a valuable 53 runs in the ODI played at Indore, where he stitched together an important 88-run partnership with Virat Kohli, helping India stay in the chase. Speaking about his temple visit, Reddy said, “Visiting the Mahakal Temple was an unforgettable experience. I feel blessed to have taken part in the Bhasma Aarti.”
In the match, New Zealand posted a massive total of 337 runs. India fought hard but were eventually bowled out for 296. Star batter Virat Kohli scored his 85th international century, once again showcasing his class despite India falling short of the target.
