NZ vs SA Tri-Series: In a thrilling conclusion to the series, New Zealand triumphed over South Africa by three runs in the final match, thanks to an impressive final over bowled by Matt Henry, who conceded only three runs. This event took place on Saturday at Harare Sports Club in Harare.
Everything appeared to be favoring South Africa in their pursuit of 181, particularly after they required just seven runs in the last over with six wickets still in hand. New Zealand’s unsung heroes in the field, Michael Bracewell and Daryl Mitchell, executed remarkable catches that restricted the South African innings to 177 for 6, enabling the Kiwis to secure a narrow three-run victory.
However, the momentum shifted in New Zealand’s favor at the climax of the match as Henry bowled towards the square leg boundary, where Bracewell, demonstrating his exceptional agility, made a stunning and game-changing catch.
Another dramatic moment occurred with Daryl Mitchell’s superman-like catch of George Linde at long off.
