England opener Phil Salt’s bat, used in the IPL and for England over two years, initially failed an on-field gauge test during Lancashire’s Vitality Blast match against Northants on 4 July. Lancashire Cricket confirmed the bat, used during RCB’s recent IPL title win, later passed further checks by the Cricket Regulator’s ACU. The club said no further action would be taken.
