Erik ten Hag has revealed he has had to go readily on his Manchester United team after he indicted social media of making players less “ thick-bearded ”.

Further probing into the challenges of ultramodern-day operation, Ten Hag spoke about the difficulty of getting political points across to players in today’s fast-paced world. He stressed how players’ short attention spans, told by social media and quick-bites platforms like TikTok, have made traditional coaching styles more complicated.
“What did Donald Trump use in his election crusade? Significantly, TikTok. That is how the current generation takes in information,” he argued.
“They have a veritably short attention span, and in that short attention span, you need to deliver your communication. But football is complex, and that is the biggest challenge for all of us. You can not tell in one or two twinkles how you must play football hereafter.”
