The BCCI has delayed the return of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, naming Rajat Patidar and Tilak Varma as captains for India A’s three-match home ODI series against Australia A from 30 September to 5 October in Kanpur. Patidar, fresh from leading RCB to an IPL title and scoring heavily in the Duleep Trophy, will captain the opener, with Tilak taking charge of the last two games.
