Australia’s legendary leg spinner Shane Warne made his debut in 1992 and retired after taking 1001 wickets. Warne took a total of 1000 wickets in all three formats. He took 708 Test wickets, which also includes the record of taking 96 wickets in a calendar year in 2005. Warne is also the highest wicket-taker in the Ashes, he has taken 195 wickets in the Ashes.
