FIFA confirmed on Wednesday, December 11, that Saudi Arabia would host the 2034 FIFA World Cup. Previously, Qatar hosted the FIFA World Cup. The 2030 World Cup will be held by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.
However, Saudi Arabia is going to host the World Cup in 2023. The decision was announced by President Gianni Infantino.

Regarding the World Cup to be held in 2023, Infantino said that we are taking football to more countries and the number of teams has not reduced its quality. It has actually increased the possibilities. FIFA and Saudi officials have said that hosting the 2034 World Cup could lead to important changes, including expanding women’s freedom and rights.
Qatar has already hosted the FIFA World Cup 2022. Saudi Arabia is giving more importance to sports these days. Recently Saudi has signed a big deal with BCCI. Saudi itself organized the mega auction of IPL 2025. This was the first time when the market for players in this country was very big.
