New Delhi: Former cricketer Gundappa married his friend Sunil Gavaskar’s sister Kavita. While returning from the West Indies tour in 1971, Gavaskar invited Gundappa home, where he met Kavita and fell in love. For your information, Gavaskar said, “I had invited Gundappa home. We were returning from the West Indies. The result was amazing.” Both of them got married in 1978.
