Gowtham retires after 15-year domestic career
Karnataka all-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham, 37, retired after 15 years. He announced it at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Gowtham, who played for CSK & MI, took 394 wickets & scored 2,783 runs for Karnataka. He defended 13 runs in a final. He said he didn’t want to block a young cricketer’s spot. He wishes to contribute to Karnataka cricket. His career had ‘eventful’ comebacks.
