Former Indian player Aakash Chopra has raised questions on the inclusion of Yashasvi Jaiswal in the ODI team. He said that India does not need Yashasvi in ODIs, as the batting order is fixed in the presence of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli. In his statement given before the Champions Trophy 2025, Chopra said that Mohammad Siraj should be included in the team in place of Yashasvi.
