Vice-captain Shubman Gill has defended the selectors for not including Karun Nair in the Indian team despite his brilliant performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Gill says that the current team’s performance has been good and constant changes will weaken the team. He said, “Vijay Hazare Trophy was great for Karun, but this does not mean that any player should be dropped from the current team.”
