Stuart Broad said being hit for six sixes by Yuvraj Singh at the 2007 T20 World Cup was a “slap in the face” but ultimately saved years of his career. Broad admitted poor preparation on the day and said the humiliation forced him to improve early, helping him develop discipline, stronger mental habits and go on to enjoy a long, successful international career with over 600 Test wickets.
