On Day 5 of the fourth Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, the southpaw reached the location an hour after play had resumed. The left-handed batsman would come out in the middle on the last day as India attempts to hold on and play for a draw, according to prior confirmation from batting coach Sitanshu Kotak.
One must wait to see if Pant steps up to bat if the situation calls for it, though, as his arrival at the stadium on crutches creates a lot of uncertainty.
As he entered the stadium to watch his teammates battle and slug it out in the middle as they attempt to stave off England, Rishabh Pant was also seen sporting a moon boot.
