Indian spinner Amit Mishra was arrested on 20 October by the Bangalore police on the complaint of a female film producer. The woman alleged that she had been Amit’s friend for the last four years. This is not the first case when a cricketer has been embroiled in controversies regarding his womanizing. Players like Shane Warne, Shahid Afridi, Kevin Pietersen, Mike Gatting and Saqlain Mushtaq have also been involved in sex scandals.
