If the Indian women’s cricket team wins the World Cup by defeating South Africa in Navi Mumbai on Sunday, the BCCI will award Harmanpreet Kaur’s team a substantial cash prize. Under Jay Shah’s “equal pay” policy, the team could receive the same ₹125 crore as Rohit Sharma’s team. Despite the defeat in 2017, the BCCI gave each player ₹50 lakh. The winning team will receive approximately ₹39.5 crore.
