Adam Milne is ruled out of the T20 World Cup due to a hamstring injury sustained while playing in SA20. Kyle Jamieson, who was a travelling reserve, replaces him. Coach Rob Walter said, “We are all gutted for Adam”. New Zealand will play Afghanistan on Feb 8 in Chennai. A replacement travelling reserve will be announced in due course. They finished third in Group C in 2024.
