Ex-IPL chairman Lalit Modi criticised Pakistan’s mooted boycott of their T20 World Cup match against India on Feb 15 in Colombo. Modi said, ‘Cricket was created to be decided on the field, not in boardrooms’. He cautioned that ICC revenues and future bilateral matches’ broadcast rights will come under scrutiny. Modi added that IPL is now the marquee cricket tournament.
