New Zealand’s T20 World Cup plans have taken a hit as former CSK pacer Adam Milne has been ruled out of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 due to a torn left hamstring, sustained while bowling in the SA20. In response, the Black Caps have promoted fast bowler Kyle Jamieson originally a travelling reserve into the squad. Coach Rob Walter expressed sympathy for Milne and confidence in Jamieson’s ability to fill the role ahead of the India-Sri Lanka-hosted tournament.
